1. Hydraulics Project Manager

HTS Hydraulic Technical Services Inc. is looking for a project manager capable of managing small to medium-sized fabrication projects.  This job requires the ability to manage several projects at a time and ensure their completion on time and on budget.

Key Accountabilities

This position is responsible for:

1.  Developing and tracking schedules, purchasing, budgets, and other documentation on multiple projects.

2.  Being accountable for leadership, communications, decisions, and/or project success as well as the ability to be proactive, plan-oriented and organized. Planning and coordinating meetings between clients and company personnel as needed or requested.

3.  Ensuring that all ISO quality standards are implemented at every stage of all projects.

4.  Ensuring a safe work environment for all members of the team, visitors, and customers.

 

Job Functions

  •        Schedule/Run meetings with customers, vendors, co-workers
  •        Schedule Project activities to meet deadlines
  •        Coordinate materials and personnel to fulfill schedule
  •        Liaise with vendors, inside & outside sales
  •        Negotiate with vendors
  •        Communicate with customers to build and maintain strong business relationships
  •        Assist purchasing department as needed to ensure timely arrival of materials

 

Education, Experience

  •        CET/MET preferred
  •        Computer literacy – Microsoft Office, Internet
  •        Familiarity with Project Management software an asset
  •        2 to 5 years hydraulic experience or equivalent
  •       General mechanical aptitude an asset

1. INSIDE SALES PERSON

HTS is searching for a highly motivated, self-starting individual for the Inside Sales Department. 

This Inside Sales representative's position requires that the candidate be organized and able to be a team player but most importantly be willing to proactively sell and market our product lines and services to both existing and potential Customers.

Our Customers and potential prospects communicate with this Inside Sales representative to request orders, quotations and lead times by either fax, telephone or e-mail.
This candidate will be able to build quotations and enter orders on standard as well as custom products and communicate pertinent information to Customers.

This Inside Sales representative will handle project execution actions and will coordinate information between our other departments.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Handle incoming sales calls from prospects and existing customers for our products and services

  •  Build relationships to provide repeat business and excellent customer service

  •  Call past customers and cold call new sales leads to generate sales

  •  Participate fully in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development opportunities

  •  Identify decision makers amongst the targeted sales leads in order to start the sales process

  •  Communicate with Outside Sales and the Sales Manager to determine essential strategic approaches for sales

  •  Handle a forklift to load and unload shipments as required

  •  Coordinate with other departments for status on orders to ensure a delivery commitment to customers is met

  • Coordinate and communicate with our principals throughout the sale

  •  Handle cancellations or changes in sales orders and communicate the changes  with the related departments

  •  Capture of accurate and complete information in our computer  system

  •  Attend group sales & safety meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts

 

Skills and Responsibilities:

  •  Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment

  •  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English

  •  Highly proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, Power Point,  Excel and Outlook

  •  Excellent telephone skills and ability to understand and deal with different personality skills

Education and Qualifications:

  •  A minimum requirement is a background in Purchasing or 3 years Hydraulic/Pneumatic experience or a Mechanical Engineering Technologist

  •  Project Management skills an asset

2.  PUMP MECHANIC

HTS  is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Component and System Technician. This position will be strongly involved in, but not limited to, the repair of hydraulic components such as pumps, motors, and valving. Removal from systems, reinstallation, and testing after repair will be required. This is a full time position with customer driven time lines. This will require on call, overtime and flexible attitudes towards the customers wishes. 

 

This candidate will have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and be able to move easily from a team environment to autonomous work at any time 

  • A positive and understanding attitude, with strong communication skills

  • An ability to prioritize and take ownership of tasks and areas, while maintaining a strong sense of customer service

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to all situations that arise in a fast passed design and implementation environment

  • Extreme reliability in all aspects pertaining to the company and required work

 

Technical requirements :

  • Strong understanding of basic hydraulic principles

  • Experience with Closed loop (Hydrostatic transmissions)

  • Experience with Open loop (Pressure compensated and Load sense)

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Abilities to read and draw schematics

  • Basic computer skills
